Acceptance....FINALLY!....?

I've been accepted to Oldenburg! YAY!
     Not that this was really in question, but I'm glad it finally came. Though.... I need to fill out a new application....again....but I guess our spots are still there.

I'm a little mournful that I didn't ever get an official acceptance letter. We all know I would have frame that shit right away and hung it up for all to see. Either way, I'm glad to be accepted. :D

              .... now just to fill out those forms....make money for Germany.....then get there.....

Hurdle 3: Ticket

Hurdle 3:

TICKET

Today I finally sat down with my parents and finally and bought my ticket to Germany. The first flight we looked at that flew me into Bremen (closest to where I'll be staying [Oldenburg]) would have the following layovers:
Denver -> New York
New York -> Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul -> Bremen, Germany

My parents took one look at Istanbul and changed their minds.

SO NOW!
I'll be flying into Hamburg, which is still fairly close. I'm even more excited about my layover schedule however.
Denver -> Chichago
Chichago -> Dublin, Ireland
Dublin -> Hamburg, Germany

We're now less than two months and counting. I'm working on trying to figure out how to pack all my stuff into simply two suitcases.....stop laughing.
I know. It's going to be hard. Maybe ever the hardest part of this journey. I've given up all my books since my parents gave me their old Kindles for the journey. I won't being my scooter, too many cobble stones. This means I need to find out how to condense my decorations (Sorry dalek poster, you didn't make the cut) and my fashion and my LIFE into two suitcases that don't weigh more than 50 pounds each.
Does anyone have any packing tips and tricks? I would love them!

Oh yeah, I'll be living in Oldenburg, just in case I missed that earlier...
